Charlie Levine is Director of TROVE, an independent contemporary art gallery in Birmingham, UK. The gallery’s programme rotates monthly and is located on a heritage site; the former Museum of Science and Industry’s Engine Room and prior to that was part of The Elkington Factory, the first metal plating factory in the world.
curatorcharlie is Charlie Levine’s blog site, here she keeps up to date with TROVEs shows, as well as other projects she is involved in, including Aedas Presents. The blog also allows Levine to add information about other exhibitions that are also relevant to her practice and interests.

Curator
Charlie Levine has been an independent curator since completing her MA in Critical and Contextual Art Practices at BIAD in 2006. Her key interests lie in archives, collections, wunderkammers, nostalgia, conversations and collaboration. As well as curating in heritage sites, such as Curzon Street Station.
